  • Incorporate advanced medical, imaging, endovascular, and surgical techniques and strategies into their practices using a multidisciplinary and team-based approach to the treatment of vascular disease.
  • Implement high-quality guidelines-based programs to improve the early identification and care of patients with non-cardiac vascular conditions.
  • Apply knowledge in critical decision making and the comprehensive spectrum of care for patients with stroke and intracranial/extracranial carotid artery disease.
  • Describe the latest technologies available to treat CLTI, carotid disease, aortic occlusive disease, PE, and DVT.
  • Identify and discuss socioeconomic factors that result in variations in vascular care.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning (ACHL) and The VIVA Foundation. ACHL is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning designates this live activity for a maximum of 27.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses may participate in this educational activity and earn a certificate of completion as AAPA, AANP, and ANCC accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credits through their reciprocity agreements.

Guidelines require that learners in CME activities be made aware of all relevant financial relationships affecting the presentation of the faculty member. ACHL ensures that all faculty and staff involved in the planning, development, and implementation of ACHL activities disclose financial relationships held within 24 months and that relevant financial relationships are mitigated before a CME activity occurs. Complete information will be provided to learners prior to the start of the educational activity.

Maintenance of Certification for Surgeons
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

ACHL will begin submitting MOC points starting November 15, 2024, and the 1st of the month after that through December 31. MOC points MUST be claimed by December 31, 2024. By claiming surgery credit and providing your date-of-birth, you consent to have ACHL and/or our educational partners submit your participation in this activity to the ABS through the ACCME PARS system.

Participants may claim CME credit for sessions attended live, either in-person or virtually, and CME credits are not available for sessions viewed on demand.

Virtual attendees can claim CME credit for livestreamed sessions, for a maximum of 22.5 credits. Sessions NOT livestreamed are denoted with an asterisk below.
